Apprenticeship Scholarship and Employer Signing Bonus

Do you hire apprentices?

You may be eligible for a financial bonus!!

Here are the Facts…………

Candidate must:

• Be 24 years of age or under
• Have left school before completing the necessary academic requirements for registering in the desired trade
• Be committed to achieving the necessary academic requirements within one year
• Demonstrate an interest as well as a strong commitment in the desired skilled trade

Employer must:

• Be licensed to operate in Ontario
• Provide employment in Ontario
• Must hire, train and register a scholarship candidate as an apprentice
• Be approved by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities to provide apprenticeship training.

If both parties meet the above criteria…………

• Candidate receives a $1000.00 scholarship
• Employer receives $2000.00 bonus
